WORKSHOP:

  • OPTIMIZE YOUR BREATH AND BODY MECHANICS:

Did you know that what you’re doing with your body can affect your voice and your breathing. Most of us have developed habits we aren’t aware of that make singing and breathing more difficult. Learn the proven techniques of correct body mechanics that will erase those bad habits and set your breath and your voice free! Learn how to support notes effortlessly and have complete vocal freedom through the use of correct posture in movement.

  • UNDERSTAND WARM UP AND VOCAL EXERCISES:

Learn what vocal warm ups and exercises to do and why they’re so important. You’ll take home an easy 10-minute warm up you can do anywhere! And you’ll learn other vocal exercises that will improve your ability to belt safely, help strengthen your voice and improve your endurance, increase vocal range and flexibility, and help you understand how to blend your vocal registers seamlessly. No more “break” in your voice.

  • FIND YOUR NATURAL VOICE:

You NEED to sound like you. To be a top selling artist you need to develop and bring out your unique sound! No two stars sound alike and there’s a reason for that, so what I help you do is discover and polish what makes your voice stand out, and that is always your NATURAL sound and voice. Break through traditional training that tries to fit everyone into one sound. Sing outside the box and SOUND LIKE YOU! There’s only one of you in the entire world. Singing should be natural and easy and that’s what you’ll learn to do!

  • SONG ARTISTRY

Sing the songs You want to sing! You’re audience wants to know what you’re feeling, so learn the best way to deliver a song using “Conversational” singing techniques. Keep it real, keep it authentic and learn to let your audience experience the songs with you. By keeping class size small it ensures that I can address each of your questions, voices, and songs. And remember, we’ll be working with the songs you want to sing. Everyone should have two songs prepared, (approx. 2:00 minutes in length each) memorized and provide your own track or accompanist for your song. We may only work on one of your songs, but have an extra just in case. (All accompanists are responsible for providing their own instruments.)

ADITTIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Small Class sizes: only 10 seats available
  • Students should prepare two 2:00 minute songs to work on, but may only work on one.
  • Each student gets one on one time with Ms. Webb and a chance to work together with other students.
  • There will be a performance in the last hour of the workshop so students can show what they’ve learned.
